Styles & Techniques

I've been both a mixed media and a scrapbook artist. 

My style is colorful, freestyle, and I sometimes use mixed media techniques on my scrapbook projects.

I make 12x12, 8.5x11, 8x8 layouts mainly and I am addicted to making mini books and any kind of art journals.

I've started my own Book Editing company in order to release a Scrapbook magazine called {entreARTistes}magazine on August 20th.

I organize the events {entreARTistes} with Karine Cazenave-Tapie, with over 6 events per year in France and in Europe.

She did so many works and a wonderful tutorial for us !!!

Marianne is a friend of Celine : this girl has some talent!

First of all, cut all your pages and cover the size you want : mine is 3"x4 1/2" wide.

Now use one piece of cardboard, 2 pieces of kraft cardstocks, patterned papers,overlays to make the pages of your album.

Primeiro de tudo, cortar todas as suas páginas e cobrir o tamanho que você quiser:                   o meu é 3 "x4 1 / 2" de largura.

Agora use um pedaço de papelão, 2 pedaços de cardstocks kraft, papéis padronizados, sobreposições de fazer as páginas do seu álbum.






Make TEXTURE with gesso

Use leaves as stamps

Add gesso to your page and stamp into the paint : you'll get a nice textured print.

Make the Enveloppe

Cut a piece of paper into a piece of kraft paper. Size : 6 1/2" x 7".

Faça o EnveloppeCorte um pedaço de papel em um pedaço de papel kraft

Tamanho: 6 1 / 2 "x 7

Use a small round punch to make the paper eyelets and punch a small hole in the middle of each circle.

Don't forget to add the thread before "closing" the system.

                               Use um soco redondo pequeno para fazer o ilhós no papel 

e faça um furo pequeno no meio de cada círculo.

Não se esqueça de adicionar a linha antes de "fechar" o sistema.

Céline is addicted to paints, collages, freestyle scrapbooking, even though she craves for design and white space.

Actually working for several companies such as American Crafts, Sassafras, Kesi’art, Studio Calico, Scrapbook Adhesives and Stamping Bella, Céline has been working on new projects, in order to astonish you !

She launched the editing company Green Frog Studio Editions in 2008 in order to publish a Scrapbook magazine called{entreARTistes}magazine.

Céline also published her own book called Scrapbooking: Inspiration et Techniques that you’ll be able to purchase on Amazon or any bookstore.

Calendario de Aniversário / Birthday calendar

Hi friends

Hoje vamos mostrar como transformar um calendário antigo de mesa em um calendário de aniversário.
Today we'll show you how to transform an old calendar on a birthday calendar.

 

1) Primeiro foi escolhido um calendario antigo, neste caso de 2007

1) First was chosen an old calendar, in this case of 2007

2) Tirar o espiral e abrir o calendario
2) Removed the spiral and open the calendar

3) Cortar a parte dos furos e depois passar cola em um dos lados do calendário

3) Cut part of the holes, than passing glue on one side .

4) Encapar somente este primeiro lado, com papel de sua escolha
4)Cover only this side, with paper of your choice

5) Após o primeiro lado pronto, encapar o outro lado e a parte inferior, assim podemos utilizar mais que um papel.
5) After the first side to be ready, make the other side and the bottom, you can use two or more paper.

OBS: Resolvi furar a parte inferior do papel, para sobrepor o outro já colado.

PS: I decided to stick to the bottom of the paper, to overlap the other already pasted

7) A parte de dentro de calendário pode ser coberta com qualquer tipo de papel pois mal irá aparecer, a escolha foi o preto para ficar discreto.

Hi there people.

Our special guest this month is Natalie May

Hi there ... I'm Natalie May. A 36 year old mum to a gorgeous 8 year old daughter, Jessica, a wife to a very supportive hubby and I love working in this industry!
I have been a card maker for about 12 years and discovered Scrapbooking late 2006. My family is my main inspiration obviously, but I love scrapping any photos. If I like the photo, I’ll scrap it! I also love to create mini albums and “Off the Page” projects.
I don’t believe have a particular style - I love to experiment and try new things but most of my LO’s are unorganized and casual.   I love to work off a sketch but also enjoy letting my creative juices flow and let the paper guide me!
I love using a variety of techniques on my pages from dry and wet embossing, Glimmermist, inking and more recently I have become addicted to my Cuttlebug again. I have a soft spot for chipboard and really get so much fulfillment from teaching and making sure that my students walk away from a class having learnt something new.

Here is a more detailed tutorial for you to try.

This is a variation on a technique that I use regularly with Cuttlebug projects and thought it would look good on a layout.

I raided my hubbys shed and came across some Aluminum Tape. I actually think it's used for roofing or something like that but it does the job just nice! It's super sticky and VERY unforgiving {and also cuts worse than a paper cut}.

Esta é uma variação em uma técnica que eu uso regularmente com projetos Cuttlebuge achei que ficaria bem em um layout.

Eu estava em meu atelie e olhava para as fitas de alunínio .
Essas fitas são encontradas em loja de material de construção e servem para coberturas em obras !!!
Esta fita é super pegajosa e MUITO implacável {e também cortes pior do que um corte de papel}.

Firstly I placed all my chipboard on a heavy chipboard background, positioned it then glued it down. This is a great way to use up odd shapes and letters!


Em primeiro lugar eu coloquei todos os meus aglomerado em um fundo de papelão pesado, posicionada então colado para baixo. 
Esta é uma ótima maneira de utilizar-se formas estranhas e as letras!

I cover the entire LO with the tape wrapping the ends to the back of the chipboard being careful not to pull it too tight. The tape will be pushed into the crevices next. 

Eu cubro o LO inteiro com a fita envolvendo as extremidades para a parte traseira doaglomerado com cuidado para não puxá-lo muito apertado. A fita será empurrado para a próxima fendas.

Using a scoring tool or something that has a round tip, I ran it abound the edges of the covered chipboard shapes so that they were more enhanced.

Usando uma ferramenta de pontuação ou algo que tem uma ponta redonda, eu fui amassando as formas de aglomerado cobertos de modo que eles eram mais reforçada.

Next thing I did was create some patterns using various tools. Firstly I did some scrape with my fingernails, then some zig zags and dots with the scorer and finally using a Cuttlebug embossing folder, I transferred the pattern by using a rolling pin to force the pattern thru to the foil tape. 

A próxima coisa que fiz foi criar alguns padrões usando várias ferramentas. Em primeiro lugar eu fiz alguma raspar com as unhas, então alguns zig zags e pontos com o artilheiro e, finalmente, usando uma pasta de estampagem Cuttlebug, eu transferi o padrão usando um rolo para forçar o padrão até a fita de alumínio.

I decided to see if embossing powder would stick to the tape so I gently rubbed the Distress Ink Embossing pad direct to the shape then sprinkled the black powder over the top and it worked beautifully.

So next comes the messy bit. Using Ranger Alcohol Inks, I completely covered the entire project in Black Ink making sure to get into all the gaps and edges.

Once dry, I used a few different sanding blocks to sand it back. I move in circular movements and back and forth to get the look I am after. Get into the chipboard shapes and if you find you take off too much ink, then just put on another coat.

After this step, I gave it a light spray with a heavy Metallic Silver spray by Memories Mists by StewartSuperior and let it dry then a light coat of Cinder Glimmermist. This gave it a little more texture and came up looking great. 


Após esta etapa, eu dei-lhe um spray de luz com um spray prata metálico pesado porBrumas Memórias por StewartSuperior e deixe secar, em seguida, uma leve camada de Glimmermist Cinder. Isto deu-lhe a textura um pouco mais e veio a grande procura.

The entire layout had to sit overnight to completely dry and the result this morning just blew me away. I love the way the ink has settled into the nooks of the chipboard and the light catches it at different levels.
